MORE SACRED COWS

I know I’m asking for trouble, but it’s time to hold to the standard of what the Word of God actually teaches. Why are these thjings important? Because wrong thinking leads to wrong believing and wrong praying and a life of sin, condemnation, deception, and defeat.

Ok, here it goes! Take off your seat belt.

1. INNER HEALING: There is a supernatural anointing to heal the broken-hearted, but the term “inner healing” is really unscriptural. Our inner man has been born again, not healed. The same holds true for what some Christians call “generational” curses. It’s mostly based on OT based theology. True redemption under the New Covenant has re-GENE-nerated us. Now if you are talking about “inner healing” dealing with a person’s emotions the Bible is clear that our emotions and feelings are brought under subjection to the Word of God through the renewing of the mind.

I’m afraid the root of “inner healing” is a psychological approach to something that the washing of the water of the Word of God and a revelation of your identity in Christ can only do. Psychology is alright at times in its place, but it is a very poor substitute for the supernatural. Additionally,

human beings are spirits not minds. You must deal with the spirit of a man first and then his mind, which include his emotions and destructive reasonings.

2. HOMOSEXUALITY: Some of you may want to check out here and continue to scroll because what I’m about to say is counter cultural, but it’s what God says. The raw naked truth of homosexuality and lesbianism is that it’s the influence of a demon spirit that often gains access into a person’s life through a traumatic experience like abuse or curiosity. The Scriptures call it unnatural or abnormal to the ordinary course of nature (Romans 1). That homosexual spirit seeks out another homosexual spirit because its only his kind that can stand its smell. In the spirit these demons are so putred smelling that other demons do not associate with them. Thomas embrace them. Think about that. That is what gay marriage is. Let’s see what the wokeness of Facebook does with this. If everyone dares to share this, I believe it can be harder for FB to stop its circulation. If you are concerned what your own friends may think, well, that’s your decision. We love people but we hate the demons that keep them in bondage. Christ never offered demons any sympathy.

GAY “MARRIAGE”, TROPHIES OF HELL

Where homosexuality used to be taboo and shameful, it has now run its course down a slippery slope of conforming to the spirit of this age. The devil working through politicians and men in high places pushed the limits into full blown gay marriage. Obama, embodied by a prince of darkness, lit up the White House on that fateful night and celebrated the prince of darkness’s victory. Obama was the devil’s trophy — a trophy of hell. That’s where he will

soon be unless he repents. So many so called “Christians” , under the influence of that spirit, were deceived into voting for him. Twice. To all of heaven, homosexuality and gay marriage is repulsive and discordant. Such cannot inherit the kingdom of God. There is deliverance through the acknowledgement of the truth leading to repentance. I know a minister who has been in deliverance sessions most of his life for homosexuality. He gets temporary relief, but then goes right back to it. He should not be in ministry, but he is.

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God.” (1 Cor. 6:9-11)

Two things every gay person needs to know:

a) God didn’t make you this way.

b) And you can change.

No need to clutter the issue. It’s plain and simple.

3. WARFARE: This is another term that has been abused and misused in this generation. The proponents of this term make it sound like it’s a battle between God and satan with the Christian being in the middle. That’s not the accurate representation of what Scripture depicts. Nearly every time you see “war” or “warfare” in Scripture it has to do with battling the lusts of the flesh that seek to hinder our maturity in Christ.

Here is just one example:

“But I see another law in my members, WARRING against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” (Romans 7:23)

Here’s how the AMPC reads:

“But I discern in my bodily members [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh].”

If any born again Christian wants to walk in consistent victory let him dwell in Romans, chapters 6-8. Your body is not born again. Your flesh can never change. It must be crucified. The sinful deeds of the body and the flesh must be brought under subjection to the Word of God. Until you do something with your body and mind you will never walk in the victory Christ purchased for us. And by the way, much of Romans 7 is Paul expounding on his condition before Christ. Christians think Paul had a constant struggle between his flesh and spirit. No!

Notice also not once is the devil mentioned in Romans 6-8. It is not a devil problem but a law of sin problem dwelling in your flesh, but the power of it has been broken through the Lord Jesus Christ (v. 25). Now that we are born again and can feed our spirits we must execute this victory in our lives through application of Romans 12:1-2.

Study these scriptures in context. This is too broad a subject for me to go deeper, and I know the so-called “spiritual warfare specialists” will come out of the woodwork to challenge and oppose what the Scriptures actually teach.

Not one of these scriptures mention the devil or satan. Search it out, but keep it in context.

WAR & WARFARE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

1 Cor.9:7

2 Cor 10:3-5

1 Tim. 1: 18-19

2 Tim 2: 3-4

Ephesians 6:10-17

Jam 4:1-2

Rom 7:23

NOTE: A time is coming when wokism will ban this kind of straight talk from social media and even the internet. But it is what will put a backbone in the members of the body of Christ, and strengthen them to stand in these evil days. We have spoken in ambiguous terms for so long that when any preacher speaks plainly according to the Word, society and even some woke “Christians” label him a fanatic or a lunatic or somebody that’s out of touch. But I’m not out of touch. I’m just getting too old to care. And some believers and close friends actually appreciate my boldness and frankness.

Lastly, I’m not telling you what I think. I’m telling you what I know. You can do your own thinking.

In Christ’s love and for the maturity of His body,

Bert Farias' books are forerunners to personal holiness, the move of God and the return of the Lord. They also combat the departure from the faith and the turning away from the truth we are seeing in our day. His recent five-book bundle, written under a fresh anointing, is a forerunner of what the Lord is doing in His church today. His newest release, Turning Your Trials Into Gold, is a powerful testimony of how God raised up Bert and his wife Carolyn from a sick bed  and near death.
