We have a very special announcement to make!
In 2013 when Carolyn and I began praying together on a more regular basis a phenomal thing started happening. The wisdom of God and the revelation of the Spirit was unveiled in a profound way. I found myself grabbing for a pen and notebook nearly every time we prayed, and soon realized, because of the swiftness that these downloads were manifested, I was missing some things. So we began recording our prayer sessions and then transcribing them later.
Up till now we have compiled several hundred pages of these prolific utterances that are filled with the spirit of wisdom and revelation. Some of the books I’ve written have been birthed from this place of prayer. This was all a confirmation to the word the Lord gave us to “draw forth in prayer the provision of My wisdom for My people”. We didn’t really know how this was going to happen, but are so thankful for this operation of the Spirit that God has chosen to work through our vessels — most of it through Carolyn.
It is a gift from the Lord to His body.
WHY US?
We are still trying to understand why He chose us since we are not a large ministry with a significant sphere of influence. And we don’t really desire that. We are content laboring in relative obscurity and ministering to those God has called us to minister to. Certainly there are far greater and more influential men He could use. But our responsibility is simply one of obedience.
After Satan tried to hinder us through some severe health challenges when our lives and ministry came to a screeching halt, this precious manifestation of the Spirit is still operative today as the Spirit wills. And apparently, He still wills.
Why am I sharing all this? To let you know that we feel it is time to share these precious pearls and holy truths with the body of Christ in written form. Up till now we’ve only shared bits and pieces of it in some of our books and in churches as the Lord leads. At the same time we are trying to be careful and are very mindful of this admonishment from our Lord:
“Do not give what is holy to dogs or throw your pearls before pigs; otherwise they will trample them under their feet and turn around and tear you to pieces.” (Matt. 7:6)
We don’t believe any social media platform is the place to share these gems of wisdom and revelation. They are not for public consumption. So… we are working on starting a new blog which we will call, THE PRAYER JOTTER. The format will change. A new design will emerge. New subscribers will be given an opportunity to follow the blog. A new page will be designed and may possibly require a new subscription even from current readers. We will be see.
Stay tuned as we seek the Lord for a plan that would sift out the insincere and those Jesus plainly refers to as dogs and pigs.
