The poverty and the hardship in Guinea Bissau is the greatest I’ve seen in West Africa. There are many orphans, and often it’s the poor who take care of them.

For example, over the years pastor Daniel and his wife Carolina have taken care of many orphans in their home, in addition to their 5 children.  No electricity. No running water. They cook outside — all while raising their 5 children and some orphans, while also overseeing several churches and a ministry teaching the youth English, French, and Spanish.

By the grace of God we are helping to build and expand orphanages for the children here.

We need God’s great and generous people to sow big into this nation to fulfill this vision.
